It is a unique experience to take your Arctic education at Arctic DTU Campus Sisimiut, Greenland. The surroundings will naturally give you an insight into why Arctic engineers work under completely different conditions than anywhere else in the world. Our classes are small and the students live, work and study together. Sisimiut town has everything you need with an active local community. The beautiful Arctic nature is right at the doorstep and offers outdoor life at all times of the year.
Arctic DTU Sisimiut is located in the “blue building on the top of the hill”, with the best view in town 500m from Tech College Greenland, KTI (Kalaallit Nunaanni Teknikimik Ilinniarfik) with whom we work closely on shared facilities. Campus is part of a collaboration between DTU and Greenland's Self-Government.
Campus is open 24/7, 365 days a year. Our office at Campus is closed during weekends and holidays but campus is open for students, teachers and researchers.
Our locally resident researchers affiliated with campus have office space at Campus. Further, a large number of teachers and researchers are flying in and out of Sisimiut year round.
